We won’t stay here again; it’s uncomfortable, everything is tiny, the breakfast is sparse, and the only window faces the terrace so anyone can peek in.

The location in the old town was perfect, the building is old and beautiful with a lot of history, the rooftop view is amazing, the room is spacious.

I’m back for a second stay, which feels like the best proof of quality. Even though it’s a hostel, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Some usual comforts are missing—no TV, for example—but the historic vibe makes up for it: the halls double as exhibitions, there’s a small chapel, a rooftop viewing platform, and city views from the windows. The building is surrounded by charming green courtyards where you can sip coffee, work, or relax. The breakfast is simple yet respectable, and there’s a nice café where you can specifically go for strudel or schnitzel. The staff are wonderfully qualified and friendly. Everything is clean, the Wi‑Fi works well, and the location in the heart of the Old Town is enchanting. The only drawback is that the pillows are a bit too firm.

The history and atmosphere are fantastic, and the location is spot‑on, plus the place is exceptionally clean. The only downside was the noise—dogs barking and construction in the middle of the night made it hard to sleep, which I expected in the old city but still annoying.

The building is lovely and the spot is excellent. The duvet was too small for the two single beds pushed together.
