The surroundings, the view, the friendly staff, the spacious terrace, the quiet, and the good air were all great, but it was hard to navigate, GPS led me astray, and a clearly visible sign at the village entrance with unmistakable directions would be helpful.

“Nagyon tetszett, ajánljuk máanak is és mi is visszatérünk!”

We chose a half‑board plan, which we didn't mind, had a breakfast buffet and a three‑course dinner that was very tasty. The staff at the restaurant and the reception desk were very friendly. The area is full of sights.

“Ékszerdoboz a világörökségi pincesor mesébe illő környezetében”

The picturesque setting and panorama greet you from every angle, since the World Heritage-listed Pincesor and its namesake hotel sit on the hillside with the Zemplén Mountains in the background, offering views of vineyards, Gomboshegy Pincesor, Kálvári, Sárospatak, and Bodrogköz. Endless silence, tranquility, long walks, rest, relaxation, instant escape from everyday bustle, a beautiful, refined, high‑quality, exclusive interior, homeliness, aesthetics. The outdoor, courtyard environment, and the wellness area blend into the landscape wonderfully, though the terrace feels a bit cold to me. Breakfast was plentiful, and the "free" coffee was better quality than at other hotels. Compared to a 4‑star place, the breakfast didn't feel like a "memorable experience" as it did elsewhere, but since we stayed only one night we couldn't try many services, like the restaurant, so overall the impression was very positive.
