“At this time, we are unable to reach the administrator.”
At this time, please do not make any reservations. I am a friend of Satoru Yokoyama. Due to circumstances involving the administrator, Mr. Yokoyama, it is currently not possible to continue the KOMINKA Adventure for the time being. We sincerely apologize to everyone who had planned to visit or made the trip. As I am unable to close this account myself, I am posting this notice as a reviewer. I have visited several times, and it was a wonderful place where I could truly relax, feel close to nature, and enjoy the experience. Due to being in a developmental stage, the overall facilities are not yet fully equipped. However, he did his utmost to support me so that I could enjoy myself
The host never responded on the arrival day; messages went unanswered and the phone was simply off. Customer support mentioned this had happened before, and we ultimately couldn’t get in. Trash was scattered all over the property.
“Terrible, don’t stay there.”
Nothing, it was a terrible place. The host never showed up to meet us and remains uncontactable. When we finally managed to get in, the place looked like a construction site and was not suitable for staying. It was supposed to have 2 bedrooms for our two couples, but we only found one. We had to find other lodging and are still fighting for a refund.
“Prawdzie życie na w si 100 lat temu w Japonii.”
Staying in this 100‑year‑old house felt like a genuine Japanese adventure worth traveling to. Yoko explained everything clearly and showed us how things worked. The old house carries a beautiful friendship history that genuinely moved us. Being surrounded by nature in such a stunning part of Japan, feeling like the only people around, was pure magic. I highly recommend it to anyone who isn’t afraid of rural life, flies, bugs, night sounds, and the scent of earth, salt, and age. P.S. The toilet was brilliant and modern—just another reason we love Japan. I can’t really say anything I didn’t like. We were in the middle of renovations and restorations, which we appreciate, seeing the beautiful potential lying in this land.
