The spot is prime on a beautiful, calm bay (aside from the motorboat traffic from the nearby center for water sports) and sheltered from the winds. Golden beach and clear water. The sea alone justifies the trip I paid for a week in a 4‑star (as listed on Booking) but was given a 3‑star service, if not worse. It feels like out of the three buildings that make up the resort, two offer rooms and services up to the category (except for the awful synthetic grass around the pool), the third (where we ended up) is “second choice”, with questionable finishes, shabby and dated, with insufficient staff: in a week nobody ever cleaned the room floor, there was sand and hair everywhere, the sheets showed wear that I’d rather hang a veil over, and bathroom accessories were falling apart. I asked for a clothesline (a string would have sufficed) to dry swimsuits and was told to hang them directly on the balcony rail… The resort is run by a single Manager (always friendly), who handles everything and is always busy: for most of the time, the reception is unmanned and you don’t know who to ask for information. Still, the worst part is the breakfast: neglected, with poor ingredients, in a room with dirty chairs, despite the Manager’s effort, and after it guests must clear the table because there’s no service staff. Too bad the place has huge potential; a bit more attention and care would do it justice
