The vibe was great. The onsen left something to be desired.

A simple, clean temple lodging with parking. Excellent vegetarian cuisine. Opportunity to join the morning prayer. Very central location, the large temple complex almost faces the sea.

The location was very good. There was nothing particularly uncomfortable, but it would have been nice to have more explanations.

The staff were very pleasant and professional. The Japanese-style room was functional. The futons were comfortable. The shared shower was clean and had all the necessary toiletries. The onsen was very enjoyable. The 10 pm curfew was practical for a cemetery excursion that night (and even allowed a walk back). The vegetarian dinner and breakfast were delicious!
