Der Frühstücksservice ist hervorragend. Wunderbar bequem, vor allem, wenn man sehr früh in den Nationalpark fahren möchte. Leider ist es etwas schwierig, vom Hauptstraße aus das Gästehaus zu finden. Viele Gästehäuser sind durch Schilder ausgewiesen, die Villa Iva leider nicht.

The accommodation was quiet, clean, and set in a beautiful environment. The host was kind, flexible, and the breakfast in the cozy little house was very tasty. We visited Plitvice Lakes, and the location was excellent since the park is a 15–20 minute drive away. The deluxe suite we stayed in didn’t have air conditioning, and ventilation was a bit problematic at night because there were no mosquito nets.

The place is close to Plitvice Lakes National Park, the staff are friendly, and the view of nature is nice. However, the room was dirty with signs of killed mosquitoes all over the walls. It was dusty and unclean, and there were a lot of mosquitoes with no protection in the room. The air felt heavy and stale, and we couldn’t open the window because mosquitoes would immediately swarm in. The AC seemed to be working oddly; we set it to 26 °C, but cold air blew directly onto our heads, forcing us to sleep completely under blankets. Breakfast coffee was a 3‑in‑1 mix that looked like a coffee machine but wasn’t real coffee. The food was very cheap. I don’t understand how this property has good reviews.
