Really good location on the riverfront. The room was large and nicely decorated. The view from the room was limited because the restaurant occupied the upstairs and blocked the views. The room doors were off the gated corridor.

The room was brilliant, especially the beautifully detailed stairs, and there was no street noise, so I slept really well.

The location is perfect for strolling along the river or heading to the many restaurants and cafés, and the staff were all lovely and eager to chat and share local tips; breakfast was excellent, the restaurant is great for people‑watching, and the DVD collection was a fun blast from the past. I would have liked a comfortable chair outside with some shade, but there is construction nearby and the noise from other rooms was louder than it; the beds are quite hard, though that seems common in Asia.

The rooms were lovely, decorated well and comfortable, with a good TV offering many streaming services. I wish there were a couple of hooks to hang things on, as the wardrobe was very small and the safe took up most of the space.
