The room was very dirty, smelled bad, and flies came out of the sink. It was noisy because the people next to me started a barbecue with loud music. The AC brought nasty smells from the street and the room smelled rotten.

I chose this place for its value. Shortly after entering the room, I had a problem with the toilet – it flushed on and off, and although a male staff member came and seemed to fix it, the issue persisted. The property should separate smoking and non‑smoking rooms so non‑smokers aren’t exposed to smoke outside their rooms. This morning an SUV was blasting music from the other side of the parking lot; it eventually stopped, but if someone doesn’t want to hear it, what choice do they have? A deputy once said that if an individual wants to listen to music in a public setting, they shouldn’t play it louder than necessary for themselves. Taking these ideas into account could increase the chances of guests booking more than one night.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and best of all, I never saw a bug – not even once. They seem to be renovating, but that didn’t negatively affect my stay; in fact, it made me want to stay there more, seeing that they’re taking care of the building.

Location and price were fine. The toilet wouldn’t flush, the tub was dirty and didn’t drain, there was no hot water in the shower, and the front door had a gap under it large enough for mice to get in; insects, blood, and dirt were everywhere.
