“DECU LES PHOTOS SONT LOIN DE REFLETER L'ETABLISSEMENT”
The owner told me he liked people like me who share their observations, and the young managers were welcoming and friendly, yet the hotel still feels like a three‑star place with all its flaws. The room had air conditioning, a door, a wardrobe, heating, a towel, a USB outlet, and basic comforts, but the lighting was poor. The terrace behind the building was not maintained, the room was dark with no windows except the terrace side, and there were very few outlets to plug my PC and my apnea device; I had to bring a 20‑meter extension. The housekeeping was not thorough—my wife noticed spider webs after four days, and the furniture looked Chinese but not polished. The bathroom was too small because a balneo took up most of the space, so there was no shower; a shower would have been preferable. During the eight days we never saw a staff member at breakfast, and there was no storage furniture or wardrobe. The room was meant for one night, not for staying eight nights. There was no mirror, no ice, and the light stayed on all the time. There were no towel racks or paper dispenser; the toilet paper was not modern. In short, it could work for a night but not for longer stays. We also didn’t have dinner, the prices were high, and the menu was the same every day for eight days. The staff were nice, but they clearly lack the know‑how to run and maintain a place like this, and they need help and modernization. Comparing my two experiences, I don’t understand why this establishment is rated three stars.
