“Voelde me bij receptie absoluut niet welkom. Terwijl locatie, kamer en ontbijt erg fijn waren.”

I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious and complete breakfast, and the clean, refurbished room in the former town hall was a nice touch. However, the receptionist was unfriendly because the email about the room number was neither received nor read, so I didn't feel welcomed at all. When it was time to check out, nobody was there, and even the digital check‑out option failed to work.

Considering the restaurant was closed and they’re looking for a new manager, the breakfast that was served was reasonable. The location couldn’t be more central. The duvet and pillow were not great and an extra pillow would have been nice. The hotel was clean but very worn, for example the blinds. Instead of two desk chairs, a lounge chair would have been nice. We were locked out of our room because the lock battery died.

The location was good. Nobody tried to contact the number listed at reception, and their photos should have captions because it looked like there was a usable kitchen. They advertise breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but that wasn't true. In the bathroom the light was missing a bulb, the light was sensor‑controlled and went out while you were in the shower, making the bath very dark.
