The location is superb right by the Schneiderturm with easy access to the upper Old Town, and you can get there with a permit (SCHRANKE); parking nearby is scarce unless you arrange it, while the Old Town, restaurants, sights and a Penny supermarket are all within about an 8‑minute walk, though you have to use stairs. The neighbourhood is surprisingly quiet for such a central spot. The apartment is newly fitted, modern, clean and functional, with excellent Wi‑Fi, a handy door code, a TV loaded with streaming apps, a coffee machine with pods, water, a fridge and heating/air‑conditioning that all work. The whole building is stylishly and lovingly decorated, with a smoking nook in the front garden and a communal balcony reachable via the stairwell. On the downside, the design’s charm comes at the expense of practicality: there’s a lot of floor space but very little storage—no hallway coat rack, limited bathroom shelves, and sparse towel hooks. One person manages, but a couple or a family with a child would find it stylish yet somewhat chaotic. Still, I would absolutely recommend it.

The hotel's great location and tastefully decorated interior made for a pleasant stay. The only downside was the noise from the nearby area, but it didn't bother me too much.

We had a lovely room that was comfortable, beautifully decorated, and romantic. It was also spotlessly clean and organized. The location was perfect, right at the foot of the city, but still easily accessible for visiting the city. The parking was a bit of a hike, but it was just outside the city walls and close to the accommodation. One thing to note is that the balcony was a shared space, but we were lucky and had it to ourselves.
