Hotel Bloemendaal by BHC is a boutique hotel in a 19th-century building, located near Bloemendaal village centre. The hotel features uniquely styled, modern rooms with Nespresso machines and tea facilities. Guests access reception at nearby Hotel Bleecker, 300 metres away. A forest is 90 metres away, and Bloemendaal aan Zee beach is a 10-minute drive or 30-minute bike ride. Bicycles are available for rent.

The old building was beautiful, the room was excellent, clean, hip, trendy, and atmospheric; the bed and shower were wonderful. We ate deliciously in the cozy downstairs restaurant and had free parking nearby. Breakfast was excellent at the other nearby hotel (no buffet) and the breakfast area in this hotel was also very cozy.

The location was fine, but the room was too small, with no wardrobes and no space for luggage.

The location was great, close to bar Bleecker and a nice bar above, within walking distance of Haarlem. The room was practical and cozy. However, the first impression wasn’t great: the hallway smelled stale, the stairwell wasn’t very clean, and the large shower drain could be improved with nicer alternatives. Extra coat hooks or a footrest in the bathroom would also be handy.

The modern room was pretty, well equipped with kitchen inventory and a lovely shower. The staircase was dark.

Everything was perfect: superb service, very friendly staff, a wonderful bed, and a beautiful location.
