The original features and log burner were great, but the stairs were a bit of a challenge; we should have been clearer about our needs.

The staff were friendly, the bed was lovely and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent—poached eggs were just right.

The room was decorated and furnished to a very high standard, and that’s all there is to say.

The room was gorgeous, the bar was lively and fun, and the outside area was beautiful. Food was delicious, and the staff were so accommodating when I had to rearrange my stay at short notice because of a family emergency.
