It’s a Lao‑style hostel run by a Lao owner who shared many local spots with me during my stay; even though there are many hostels nearby, this one has been open for 10 years and is a classic, and you can ask the owner anything—she’s always enthusiastic and helpful, and booking outdoor activities here is cheap; I highly recommend staying here.

The private room was comfy with a nice view and excellent location, and the roof terrace is awesome! The vibes were really chill and nice overall, though it’s not luxury, but for an inexpensive private room it was perfect.

I came back again :) The receptionist was really kind and offered a variety of activities at reasonable prices with insurance that covered travel and room collection. The rooms were spacious with strong air‑conditioning and huge, comfortable mattresses ☺️ It’s hard to find that in Blau, so I really enjoyed it. There are clean toilets and showers in the rooms and even outside the rooms, and the pool is fun with spots to relax, read a book, or eat. The rooftop is insane with the best view in the city and free! You can rent a scooter on site, which is perfect, and there’s a cute restaurant with breakfast and perfect shakes. Thanks a lot for everything, I fell in love with the place and will come back ❤️ I loved everything!!!

For the price you can find something better; the receptionist wasn’t very friendly, the stairs in the hotel are very steep so I don’t recommend it for someone with a suitcase. The pool had dirty water and the terrace wasn’t cleaned, with trash and broken mattresses.
