The hotel was quiet and the food was excellent. The wine selection was only available at a very high price.

The hotel sat in a very quiet and convenient area for many excursions, everything was very clean and well maintained, the dinner courses were carefully varied and presented, always at least one vegetarian option, and the desserts were spectacular! The spa area only had a sauna and a Turkish bath; returning in the early afternoon from excursions, we would have definitely taken advantage of a jacuzzi or additional service if it had been available.

The dinner was worth it, but everything else was terrible. I wouldn’t come back. The staff were pushy. Cleanliness was mediocre, and the bathroom always smelled of urine. The dinner buffet was poor, only potato salad with mayonnaise and mixed vegetables. Breakfast leaned heavily on savory items; sweets were almost nonexistent (only one round and occasional brioche, a small plus for the jams). The thing that most shocked me (if that’s the right word) was discovering the next day, at the first dinner (with a receipt on the table), that water was not included in the half‑board (in four years of vacations between Trentino and Austria this was the first time we had to pay extra, 5 € per bottle, for every single dinner). One evening we asked for water in a carafe (cost 1 €); the waitresses brought us the usual 5 € bottle, saying, “I know what you asked for but I couldn’t.” The spa was not worthy of a 4‑star rating, nor was the minibar bar in the room, and the sauna was nothing special. The staff only spoke German/English. The waiter seemed insistent on making us purchase something after dinner. We relied heavily on reviews to choose the hotel, but honestly we were very disappointed; starting from the reviews promising an “excellent” buffet and an “excellent” spa, I can say a 4‑star hotel has nothing to offer.

Well organized, polite staff, good food, the only downside is that a fridge in the room would be a blessing.
