We were greeted warmly, and the hosts were eager to share tips about nearby spots. The spot was quiet and charming, a short walk to the village and only a few minutes by car to the lake, restaurants, and more. Breakfast was generous, featuring homemade items, and the evening meal—local specialties—was also excellent. The only downside was that the shower cubicle felt a little cramped.

The location was perfect: peaceful, away from Annecy’s bustle, close to Doussard beach, boat shuttle, bus, bike rentals, and more. We stayed during a heatwave; there was no air conditioning, but the house stayed very cool, especially on the ground and first floors. We slept on the second floor with the window open and didn’t feel the heat.
