The breakfast had a good variety and the view of the mountains from the room was fantastic. The room itself was brand‑new and tidy, but it was really tiny – we couldn’t even fit our suitcases comfortably. To make matters worse, the exchange rate was applied incorrectly at checkout; they fixed the amount after we asked, but never offered an apology, which left a sour note.

Staff were friendly and the rooms spotless, and the breakfast was generous and tasty. Even though the hotel sits outside Berat, the mountain scenery, quiet and natural setting made up for the distance, and a short drive is all it takes. It’s a solid pick if you don’t need to be in the city centre.

The staff were courteous and the property spotless, with a lovely garden and kids’ play area, and breakfast was hearty enough to start the day. Our friends who stayed one night got a room with a rooftop sleeping area for the children, which turned out to be a bit unsafe and the AC never reached them at night. Since the overall service was great, I’m sure a longer stay would have allowed the owner to sort those issues out.

The host was really helpful and arranged two excursions for us, even taking us out in his 4x4 once; the food was decent and the room spotless. The only downside was that the air‑conditioning seemed to cool only the bedroom, leaving the rest of the space noticeably warm, and the mattress felt a little too firm for our liking.
