The room was lovely, spacious, and clean. The distance from the train station was a drawback, but we stayed there to attend the daily ceramics festival in Mashiko, and it was the only accommodation we could secure even after booking months ahead.

We needed a hotel, and this place delivered; it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast boxes could be picked up at the front desk, though there was no restaurant. The food was tasty! It was far too expensive, probably because of the fireworks festival.

The new shared space is large and good, and the coffee machine is available for use. Inside the room there was an odd material‑like odor, and the bathtub was removed.
