“差強人意”

The bar and KTV room were okay, and some 4‑person rooms were acceptable. The KTV room wasn’t big, and when the whole block was occupied it was really cramped—no one could fit in. Still, the space was fairly satisfactory. The pool was also okay. When I checked in, I reported a problem that was resolved at checkout; the owner was sincere and offered compensation, but timely replies would have been better. The owner’s attitude was decent. On the day of check‑in, the shower in the double room had no water and no hot water—maybe due to the weather. The two back 4‑person rooms were very bad: insects hid in the rain, ants crawled over half the luggage, ants on the bag on the bed, plus spiders and a centipede. The room door handles and keypad lock were old and loose, raising safety concerns. Even when the main door was closed, the gap was large enough for an adult to slip in—perhaps because the neighborhood is safe. The courtyard wooden chairs were damaged; if you stand up without noticing, you could scrape your leg. Several room TVs had non‑functional remotes, and one TV could not be watched at all. The owner had originally planned to come to the guesthouse but said he was too tired and forgot, which was disappointing. The guesthouse has too many items and equipment that need proper maintenance. Honestly, if this environment doesn’t improve, I won’t consider returning.

Everything was great except the pool. The water was still from the previous day’s guests, not just natural leaves but oily barbecue smell and food crumbs. After I mentioned it, the housekeeper said the water would only be changed every two days, and that even draining it takes two days. So I had to settle for that pool, which was a real disappointment.

The price was a bargain and the room was very comfortable. The pool was a bit murky, which made everyone hesitant to jump in, which was a shame.
