Hotel Madlein, located in Ischgl's sunniest spot, is a stunning design hotel boasting fantastic cuisine, excellent service, and a luxurious spa. The hotel features minimalist Zen design, comfortable rooms, and a penthouse apartment with breathtaking valley views. Guests enjoy a wellness area with a beauty spa, swimming pool, outdoor sauna, and whirlpool, surrounded by torches in winter, plus ski-in/ski-out access to the Silvretta Arena.

The staff and management were super helpful and very down‑to‑earth, and there was nothing to complain about.

The fireplace and bar next to the lobby were lovely, but the distance from the ski lifts was inconvenient. The beds were overly soft and uncomfortable; we had to request a mattress change several times and finally ended up on what felt like a slab of cement. The restaurant food did not justify its price.

I liked the location, the bar, and the room. The breakfast and dinner service felt a bit lacking, probably because the end of the ski season had fewer staff than needed.
