The house is in a convenient spot, close to the main road, and you hardly hear any noise. The bed is fresh, the room is spacious, and the kitchen has everything needed to cook. Regular cleaning is good, and the linens are fresh. The hosts are very welcoming and pleasant people. It was a real pleasure to stay with them! One thing to keep in mind is that the windows and balcony door have gaps, so insects and geckos can crawl in. The water pressure in the bathroom is weak. Both issues are normal for Sri Lanka.

I had such a wonderful stay at Veranda Mirissa. For this price range, it truly feels like a hidden treasure. I stayed for a full week and honestly felt lucky that I found it. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The rooms are spacious, filled with beautiful natural light, and kept spotlessly clean . Waking up to sunshine pouring through the windows gave the whole space a calm, airy feeling that instantly put me in holiday mode 🌞. The atmosphere is peaceful, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. If you are looking for amazing accommodation at a very reasonable price, this is it. I would recommend Veranda Mirissa to absolutely everyone and would happily stay here again

“Geweldig verblijf als je wil genieten van de prachtige stranden en omgeving van Mirissa. Heel rustig gelegen, maar toch”

I had a great stay with a clean bedroom and bathroom. The owners were super friendly and helpful, and they came to clean the room several times a week, asking if that was okay first. The bedroom also had a cozy terrace with beautiful surrounding nature. The kitchen and fridge were very handy. However, the description mentioned a coat rack, which wasn’t in our room; there was a desk, so we had to lay our clothes there.

The family living downstairs were very kind and helpful—nice people. We stayed three nights! The shower was very slow.

“Nice spacious room on the edge of town”

The place is on a quiet side street outside the center, close enough to walk to everything yet more peaceful. The room and bathroom were spacious, bright, and had fairly good finishes. Staff were generally reachable by message and responsive. The kitchen area didn’t feel as fresh or clean as the room itself; only soap was available, body wash would have been nice too.
