It’s a short walk into Matala centre, and the place is very quiet with views of the surrounding hills. The rooms are beautiful, though a bit small, and exceptionally clean. The only downside was that there was no breakfast and the pool bar had no staff – it felt a bit deserted, but that worked for us over the three days.

The accommodation was comfortable and had all the facilities I’d expect. I didn’t use the swimming pool, but it looked like a nice space to relax. The hosts and staff were friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed hearing the screech owls from the balcony. The only drawback is that it’s a slightly longer walk from the centre when you’re carrying a heavy bag. On the plus side, the noise from bars is much quieter, making it more peaceful if you don’t want to stay out late.

The property was very peaceful and clean, and the staff were very friendly. The pool bar was not open.

We stayed for just one night, but the location was great, with parking, a pool, and an unbeatable price. The place was incredibly noisy – you could hear guests next door both outside their door and inside their rooms as if they were in the same room. Since we only stayed one night and the problem only arose when we went to bed, the stay was still very pleasant.

It’s cheap and has a south‑facing balcony. There is almost no daylight when the balcony door is closed, the furnishings are outdated, the cleaning chemicals smell strong, the reception is never staffed except at check‑in, and the surroundings are run down.
