“Great location, but disappointing hospitality, cleanliness and overall guest experience.”
The hotel sits within walking distance of Warsaw’s city centre and Warszawa Centralna, which is convenient for exploring. The room was mostly comfortable and the facilities were adequate. However, the room wasn’t ready at my arrival even though I had given an estimated check‑in time, and clearer communication would have helped. Dust was visible around the smoke detector and near the window, and the carpeted floor didn’t suit someone with a dust allergy. Soundproofing was poor; I could hear a dog bark, housekeeping vacuuming, and a cleaner bump into my door, which made me feel rushed. Staff rarely greeted guests, and one staff member who asked for payment was rude and unwelcoming. Breakfast fell short compared to similar French hotels; no freshly made omelettes or made‑to‑order options were available, and the staff seemed irritated, standing near the entrance with a room‑number list while clearing dishes before I finished. There was no ground‑floor water dispenser, and only one men’s toilet near reception, which seemed insufficient for a hotel of this size. The location is a real advantage, but I expected better cleanliness, hospitality, and attention to guests’ comfort from ibis Styles.
