Near the bus station and the shopping mole, the hotel was convenient, but the room was very tiny.
“Hotel OK - staff who leave desk for hours need to be fired”
The rooms are small and cozy—no complaints there, and I don’t mind windows because they’d face Luton. The only issue was the front desk’s extreme unprofessionalism: I told them I’d arrive at 1 am, yet no one was there from 1 am to 2 am; the staff member was smoking weed or something away from his desk, causing me distress and the fear of being stranded.
The area was fine, but I ordered a twin room and received a small double on the ground floor right by reception, with a door that constantly banged and let in noise from the reception area.
“Bad”
The location was good and the building felt secure once inside, but the toilet seat was broken and, as a weekend, it couldn’t be fixed.
The accommodation was sub‑standard, with maintenance clearly neglected under an “it’ll do” policy, and most of the issues matched that description.
