I stayed in a spot that’s hard to beat, but the room was sloppy and the building even had a shared bathroom.

It was cheap, centrally located, and clean. The staff asked guests for a fee in the morning while cleaning, which felt unprofessional and confusing because we couldn’t understand them. They made a lot of noise during cleaning and could have been more careful or arrived later. The room’s décor was really ugly and didn’t match the cheap photos; it had the basics, so given the price and location we didn’t complain. The owner needs to update the house’s location on Google and Booking and take better entrance photos, because the Booking photo didn’t match the entrance, making it confusing to find the place.

The location is convenient and the kitchen is decent, with a fridge, stove, and microwave. The room lacks air conditioning and the fan is very loud; the windows face the avenue, making it impossible to sleep at night when the temperature outside reaches 30 degrees. The staff is somewhat unfriendly and does not speak English. There is a washing machine in the kitchen, but using it is forbidden, and hanging laundry on a line is also disallowed. The room has no wardrobe, and the bathrooms already need plumbing replacement and repairs.

Air conditioning was not mentioned in the listing. The bathroom was not in the room as described but in a shared area, and there was no parking available. I wish the description of the rooms had been more honest, as they were very sparse and disappointing.
