The room’s hygiene was acceptable. The owner was very stern and unhelpful. Breakfast was generally sparse and consisted of pre‑packed factory food. The path to the property was blocked by overhanging branches and the neglected road was hard to navigate. The property itself—hotel or B&B?—was in very, very faded glory. To enter the (mini) shower cubicle you have to be very slim, which I’m fortunately. The owner clearly has lost interest in hospitality, as everything shows.
