The location works great for the 3Arena and city access, and I liked being able to order drinks and a platter after the show. However, dinner felt rushed because there was no space between courses.

The hotel is pricey for an average stay, but the location is good.

Location is great for that part of Dublin, The Point car park is an excellent facility, easy to access from the M50 and connected to the hotel. €25 for overnight parking saves messing around with other parking locations. Good breakfast too. Long check-in queue on arrival. OK, many people checking in for the Westlife concert in the 3Arena that night but only 2 people at the desk. I was not the only frustrated person there. Food - really disappointing. Lunch toastie was just ham and cheese and a bowl of chips. No nice artisan bread, ham or cheese, looked like out of a packet. No side salad, relish or any other decoration or finesse. i could do better at home. We ordered chips by mistake but the waitress didn't mention our order already came with chips so we ended up with 3 bowls of chips! Not a major problem but poor attention to detail. Dinner the same, had the burger but only a burger, and a bowl of chips. That was it - no salad, nothing. Would not be tempted to go back in future. Drinks - I ordered a pint of Guinness at the bar - it was given to me just poured, not settled. It was overfilled and dripped down the side of the pint glass. Another barman wiped the slop from the side, I guess in embarrassment. The worse pint of Guinness I've ever had and in Dublin too. Room - Room was fine in terms of a business stay, We were there for one night so it was fine. One of the two chairs had a foot missing so was wonky when you sat on it and the a/c was too noisy (sounded old), had to turn it off and open the balcony door which wasn't great as you get street noise coming in
