“Super potentiel, mais expérience moyenne”
The location is great, especially for starting the Ak‑Suu trek from Boch Uzuk instead of Jyrgalan – it has a lot of potential. The girls were adorable and the meals were really good. I booked for 22€ with three meals, which was very cheap. However, my booking was for a bungalow shown in the photos, but they gave me a yurt instead (they consider a bungalow to be a yurt). The ad was misleading, though I see they fixed it later. The manager didn’t seem very friendly; he came to my yurt at 21:00 to ask me to pay, which felt out of place. I could have paid when I arrived or the next morning. I was told the three meals were included, yet because I arrived at 18:30 I missed lunch, even though check‑in is at 14:00. After a 15‑minute phone call with the big boss at 21:00, they agreed to give me a picnic the next day for my hike without extra charge – that was nice, the picnic was generous. The showers were dirty (hair, dirt, grass), and I was the only guest that day; the mat was soiled and the table in the yurt was dusty. It felt like I paid an extra euro compared to the booking price.
