Spacious rustic rooms feature balconies, private bathrooms, and telephones. The restaurant boasts a wooden ceiling and conservatory overlooking the landscape, while a bar and open‑air terrace offer shaded seating. A games room with pool table and free on‑site parking enhance the tranquil, hiking‑friendly setting.

Breakfast was good with enough variety. The space and facilities are very pleasant. The indoor pool has suitable dimensions and a nice temperature. The surrounding area is very friendly. A small museum reminded me of other times. Nothing to point out.

Solar Boaventura is located in a very small village that offers nothing touristically. That’s the pleasant part after long hikes on the island. It’s handy that there’s an à‑la‑carta restaurant and you can sit outside in the garden, even for breakfast. There is even a modern indoor pool that looked pretty. I didn’t use it because I did long hikes every day.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast tasted good, but the hotel feels like it needs a facelift. The bedrooms lack proper lighting and the in‑room facilities could be improved.
