Penzion Homer Poděbrady

I stayed at Penzion Homér, literally just a few steps from the spa park, and everything was within walking distance—from the train station to countless cafés, pastry shops, and restaurants. It was the perfect starting point for walks and relaxation. The lady at the front desk was incredibly kind, eager to help, and immediately gave us tips on where to go in town. The booking and check‑in went smoothly, with no hiccups. The room was clean and fairly equipped; the presence of a kettle and a fridge was a big plus. Our room had a balcony, and we also appreciated that pets are welcome.

The place is right where you want to be, but the room felt cramped – the beds and the closet were squeezed together. There was no door separating the toilet from the bathroom and a big step into the shower made it awkward. On the morning we left, the shower wouldn’t work because a pipe had burst, and the staff didn’t warn us ahead of time. Also, there’s no on‑site parking, so we had to pay for a spot elsewhere.
