A warm welcome from the owners and hot muffins at dawn made the start of my visit great.

When we arrived, the door was open and we had to bring our bags inside; a low cupboard held games, and opening its door released a foul smell reminiscent of grandma’s era. The information book was sticky and the plastic tabs were almost falling apart, with loose sheets inside. A hair lay on the toilet lid and the area behind it was filthy, clearly uncleaned for a long time. The glass at the sink was also dirty. Because we had closed the door, a musty odor spread through the living/sleeping area, and the bedding smelled stale, not freshly washed. We left immediately. I sent a message with our findings (photos ready) and the owner only denied it; no refund was received. It was really disappointing because it was just not okay.

Quiet, private, nice muffins. nothing

“Very happy to return for a longer stay.”

Breakfast supplied gave choice and included freshly cooked warm muffins…yummy. Lovely room. Garden and view great. Would choose a softer bed
