The hilltop spot gives you a fantastic view over the town, and the bungalow felt private and roomy with a handy luggage rack. The shower delivered hot water with decent pressure, the heater kept the night comfortably warm, and breakfast was generous; the host was chatty and friendly. The only hassle was the ten‑minute uphill walk—especially with suitcases—so a taxi on arrival would save you a strain. Overall a solid five‑night stay I'd recommend.

The hostel feels really cozy, with a lovely garden and a nice view, plus a solid breakfast and a host named Bert who was friendly and helpful. The only downside was the weather turning the road up the hill into a muddy track, making arrivals and departures a bit of a slog.

The place itself is pleasant and the room was comfortable, but the coffee left something to be desired and the staff threw a noisy late‑night party that kept the hallway lively.

We spent two nights here and would gladly stay longer; the hostel feels super friendly and homely, with an enthusiastic, helpful owner and staff. It’s tidy, well‑maintained, and set a short climb up the mountain from Samaipata’s centre, giving it a peaceful vibe.
