Located in Whitehorse city centre, the Edgewater Hotel features an on-site bar and restaurant, free WiFi, and a complimentary airport shuttle to Whitehorse Airport, 6 km away. Air-conditioned guest rooms offer cable TV, desks, coffee-making facilities, and city views. The family-friendly Edge Bar and Grill provides all-day dining, while nearby attractions include SS Klondike (10-minute walk) and Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre (7 km).

The location is fantastic, just steps from the river with plenty of dining options, and the amenities are nice, but the walls are thin and the in‑room heater/AC is loud, and parking is surprisingly difficult.

The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean, and the towels were beautiful. There is no elevator, and the rates are on the high end, so I’m not sure if that’s justified. It’s not a flashy hotel, but it’s a well‑executed modest establishment.

The beds were comfortable, and the central location in downtown Whitehorse is great. Parking is VERY limited.
