Redwood House, a family‑run guesthouse on the Isle of Skye, offers tranquil loch views and complimentary parking. Each double‑bedroom features a flat‑screen satellite TV, tea‑and‑coffee facilities, and an en‑suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Guests enjoy a full Scottish breakfast, limited Wi‑Fi, and easy access to Dunvegan Castle, Edinbane, and Portree’s harbour.

The location was great for our 3‑night stay, and the single‑track road, pothole, and lamb comments didn’t deter us; all were easily managed even in the rain. The staff onsite were the best we had during our trip to Scotland. Breakfast offered a wonderful selection, including traditional hot and continental items, avocados, and eggs, a pleasant surprise. We met several couples in the “sunroom,” a space where guests can relax, play games, socialize, or read. After booking, Saturday dinner was cancelled onsite, but the hotel team kindly arranged alternatives within a short drive. The stay was amazing, though the carpeting in the room should be removed.

The property is in a quiet, isolated area. Our accommodation was a spacious two‑storey mini‑apartment with a living room on the ground floor and a bedroom upstairs. The hotel and restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly, and the restaurant was good. The bathroom was only on the lower floor, in the living area.
