“Très propre et très tranquille”

I had to climb three flights of stairs to reach the top floor of the house with my luggage, which would be a warning for older travelers; the room itself was small.

The spot was great, just a few kilometers from Kamouraska and close to Autoroute 20, making it very convenient and comfortable for a solo night. Even though the place had stairs and felt a bit unusual, I found it very well organized.

The place was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. I wish the reception had been more personalized because nobody was on site to greet guests when we arrived. Luckily, the cleaning lady—who was really kind—was there early in the morning and was the only helpful person we met before leaving, which could use improvement.

“Bien situé dans un petit village.”

The amenities and the ability to cook were nice. I didn’t like the mattress on the single bed; it felt a bit soft, and the room was noisy because it’s close to the kitchen exhaust of the restaurant.
