This guest house was wonderful—exactly what I wanted and more. It’s within walking distance of Harrogate, and the room was warm, cozy, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a good menu selection, and the staff at breakfast were excellent and well-presented. I’ll definitely come back. Thanks to the girls at breakfast. Hazel Hull

The room was flawless: spotless, cozy, and well-decorated with high‑quality toiletries and towels. It was very quiet yet still close to the center, and the large bay window overlooked trees. I’d definitely return. On the downside, I received a delayed email about a missed call and a text asking whether we wanted twin or large beds; I replied for a double bed and they confirmed it, yet we still got twin beds. I’d also say it’s my mistake—I booked the night before for a quick stop and didn’t realize it was self‑check‑in. I never saw the instructions in the email because we were traveling, so there was confusion when we arrived until I called and everything cleared up. If I’d gotten the instructions via text, I would have seen them.

Everything was considered, even the small touches like leaving umbrellas at the main entrance for guests and offering a parking permit if you can’t get into the car park. Nothing I don’t like.

This place is fantastic. The room is beautiful, warm, and meticulously detailed, spotlessly clean, and the bed is very comfortable for a great night’s sleep. The room offers a good selection of teas, coffees, and biscuits. Breakfast was lovely with friendly, attentive staff. Nothing was cheap—high‑quality cereals, Heinz sauces (and beans!), quality meat, and perfect poached eggs, plus Taylor’s fresh coffee, even for decaf drinkers. The location is excellent for town, and parking is free. I’ll definitely stay here again. The only downside is leaving without staying another night.
