“very clean room, but the building's upkeep and lack of reception did not match a 3* hotel”
The room was very clean, which we appreciated, and once we found the caretakers they were friendly and polite; but the signs from the train to the hotel made us walk an unnecessary 800 m, the property didn’t look like a 3‑star listing—outside it seemed neglected, and inside there were unfinished repairs such as missing floor and door trims and a hole in the shower wall; moreover, there was no reception desk, so after waiting outside with no answer at the door we had to walk around the property to find staff, even though one caretaker had seen us earlier.
