The big bed and quiet location were positives, but all the other guests were very audible, the walls were thin, and for tall people the rooms were sometimes too shallow – I couldn’t stand upright in the shower, toilet, or hallway, and rooms 1 and 2 were not suitable for anyone over 175 cm.

I appreciate the historic charm of this building; it feels very unique. As a tall person, I couldn’t stand upright because the ceiling wasn’t high enough, especially in the shower. Still, it’s a historic building and staying there feels like a night in a castle, but I don’t recommend it for people with mobility issues since there are no handrails on the multiple stairs. The restaurant below is closed on Mondays, so there’s no dinner service and deliveries to the house are usually pricey. The bakery next door is a better bistro and also pricey; it’s better to open at 6:00 a.m.

I loved how close the train station was, but the low ceilings made the room feel a bit cramped.
