Parking was available for a fee of 10 euros per night, which was very helpful for those arriving by rental car. The rooms we received were large, spacious, and pleasant. The location was central, and a short walk led to the old town. The staff were wonderful. Breakfast was reasonable, and you could definitely leave at 7:00. The staff were fantastic and the place was very nice.

For a five‑day trip to Umbria we chose Relais Metelli as our base. It turned out to be an excellent choice. The relais’s location is perfect: it’s easily reachable by car, and because it sits on the edge of the pedestrian zone, the center of Foligno is only a few minutes’ walk away. The on‑site parking is also a major plus. The building is a beautifully restored Liberty villa that adds modern comforts without losing its historic charm. The room is large and quiet, the bed is comfortable, the breakfast is good, and the staff are very kind and friendly. Highly recommended.
