I found the hotel itself to be solid, with spacious rooms, excellent air conditioning, comfortable beds, decent Wi‑Fi, and a good restaurant. The only downside was that the area was flooded and I had to wade through shin‑deep water just to get to the front door because the taxi wouldn’t drop me off outside (05/10/26 – 08/10/26). It looked like a nice place to explore, so I would return if the weather improves.

The room was very clean, the beds comfortable, and the location right in the old town was convenient; the bathroom was spotless as well, making for a simple but comfortable stay in a great area, though no breakfast was provided on site.

The location was perfect for us, close to the night market, the riverfront, and local bars and restaurants; Mai was a great host who helped with booking trips and transport, and I’ll definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.
