“Mala experiencia”
Good breakfast options were available. We had a bad experience at this hotel. One night, after arriving around 21:00, we were told we would receive an upgrade to a deluxe room, the same category we had booked. The deluxe room they gave us was room 1: it was large but felt like a cave, with windows at a very high level that we couldn’t reach. The windows and curtains couldn’t be opened because doing so would have exposed us entirely to a staircase used by the public to access the restaurant, and on the other side a table with diners. They offered us other rooms, but those were very small and no longer deluxe. Additionally, the air conditioning didn’t work properly, and on the second night we spent a lot of heat during a long August weekend, with no one to fix it, so the room temperature stayed between 26 and 28 degrees—almost impossible to sleep. As compensation they offered a glass of wine at the bar, when all we wanted was to sleep cool. Breakfast is served in a hotel bar on the street, with no fans or anything, and it was very hot. The breakfast choices were tasty and varied. Also, when we arrived, we parked the car at the entrance to unload our luggage, but then had to walk to the parking lot to leave the car and walk back to the hotel because they can’t take cars to the parking lot, which requires a fee. When you arrive late and tired, it’s a nightmare to go through that process.
