The facilities are beautiful, the rooms are very cozy, and the garden is stunning. The staff were terrible, lacking warmth, and they need a quality service training.

The place looks lovely with a nice garden and offers coffee, tea, and bread in the morning and afternoon; the room is pretty but poorly maintained, it’s relatively close to downtown Zacatlán but sits on a slope that makes it hard for people with reduced mobility. The lack of cleanliness was evident: the room rugs were very dirty, dust was noticeable in the air, and the room’s foot mat was dusty. On our second day the housekeeping staff took towels from other rooms and left them scattered in the hallway all day. They claim it’s a boutique hotel but it falls short; there were no full towels in the bathroom and we had to request toilet paper. Overall, the price feels high for what’s offered.
