Breakfast was nice, everything else was fine.

Every morning the breakfast was delicious and a real highlight; it was one of the best I’ve had in Sri Lanka. The owner and his wife were very pleasant and kind, and after Ella they were especially caring when I caught a cold. The garden attracted various creatures, the house was exclusively for guests, featured high ceilings and a classic beautiful design, and I could relax on the balcony and in the living room.

The hosts were very kind and always ready to help; I spent almost a month there, and I enjoy cooking—she taught me how to make a fantastic fish dish. Thank you.

The family here was super sweet and welcoming, and the place feels like a home. The spot is a half‑hour walk from Galle’s center, the bus and train stations, but you can also get there by bus (the stop isn’t far) or tuk‑tuk. The room was spotless, the shower had hot water, the common areas were roomy, and the bed was softer than usual.
