“Central, comfy and affordable, but needs TLC”
The location is great, right in the heart of everything. For the price it’s a solid value in Perugia, though the edges look a bit worn. The bed is extra comfortable and the shutters block almost all light, so it’s easy to sleep. Check‑in was super‑easy and the staff responded quickly. There’s a constant whir of machinery outside the wall, so light sleepers might need earplugs. The room is two stories up; the high ceilings mean 60 steps, which is fine for me but could be tiring for those with less mobility – there’s a small, rickety lift, and Perugia is hilly anyway. The main window doesn’t open, so without air conditioning it can feel a bit stuffy, but the room is tucked away and stays somewhat cool. There’s no clothes iron. Overall, the place looks tired and could use a bit of investment and thought to bring it up to 2026 standards – just re‑hang fallen pictures, cover the duvet, and remove the pots of dead plants.
