“Great location, minor shower leak”
The spot is spot‑on – right where you want to be. The only downside was a little drip coming from an old shower seal that needed fixing. Otherwise, a solid place to stay.
“Nice location, but bathroom and language issues”
The hotel sits in a perfect area with tons of restaurants nearby, but communicating with the staff was a nightmare since none of them spoke English and there was no translation help. The bathroom was a mess – the shower door seal was rotten, letting water flood the whole room, and they didn’t offer any real solution except extra towels after I kept asking.
“Spotless rooms and staff that really care”
The place was spotless and the staff were genuinely friendly; Fiona, who spoke English, went out of her way to sort out any bookings I needed. I ended up extending my stay by a week because everything was so pleasant, and I’ll definitely tell family and friends about it and come back myself.
“Central, cheap, and hassle‑free”
Super central and the price was fair. I didn’t run into any problems at all, so I’d say it’s a good pick for a city break.
“Private room plus café, but missing hand soap”
I liked having my own room with a private bathroom, and the downstairs café was handy for a quick bite or getting some work done. The front desk even had a few mini‑fridges stocked with snacks and drinks. The only gripe was that there was no hand soap in the bathroom, and I had to crank the heat up to 30 °C just to feel warm while it stayed chilly outside.
