1 queen bed
2 twin beds
“A great stopover”
It was the perfect stop‑off for the night while traveling south. The accommodation overlooked the beach and the hosts were very nice and accommodating! We could have a fire on the sand out front, which was great! A short drive to some really interesting communities and beaches. All pretty good. We met a fair few people from town, all lovely. However, because the town is near some industrial works, it was a bit of a workers’ town at the time of the visit, which meant there wasn’t a heap to do after dark.
“We traveled to Payapa beach to celebrate my birthday and we couldn’t choose better! We had a great time, including our d”
The little hut right on the beach was adorable, and falling asleep to the waves was a treat. The common area was lovely, and the owners were extremely welcoming. The town itself was charming, and Anj suggested a tour to Balaybayen Falls, which added a great touch to our visit. I can’t think of anything negative.
“Beach for yourself and an owner who takes excellent care of her guests”
The sea view and the beach, free of other tourists, already made Payapa Beach special. What really distinguishes it is owner Angelica, who looks after guests with great care. I initially planned a three‑night stay but extended to five because I loved it so much in Payapa Beach, Aporawan.
“Truffa”
When we arrived we realized the double bed described in the booking was actually a tiny one‑and‑a‑half bed, far too small for a comfortable night for a couple of average height (180 cm); the room was cramped and offered no space. I wasn’t refunded by the hotel or the platform, and this is the last time I’ll use it.
“Versucht und misslungen”
The accommodation was very cheap. However, there was absolutely no comfort: the bed was tiny, there was no toilet flush, everything was concrete and unwelcoming, no food or drinks, no mosquito nets, and it was completely unsuitable for rest or relaxation. Sorry, we left right away.
