The Grand Alpine Hotel is situated in the heart of Bangkok's Pratunam business district, within a 10-minute walk of the Airport Rail Link station and 15 minutes from Ratchathewi BTS Skytrain Station. Colourful rooms feature flat-screen TVs, air conditioning, safety deposit boxes, and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel offers tuk-tuk service, laundry, and room service, as well as proximity to shopping malls like Platinum Fashion Mall and Pratunam Centre.

The staff behaved poorly and were downright rude. Wi‑Fi didn’t work at all. There was no toothpaste, brush, or slippers provided, no hot water, and the hand‑wash area was oddly placed beside the bed instead of in the bathroom. The overall experience was disgusting and I would not recommend it.

I didn’t like anything at all; from the reception’s rude handling and extra charges for everything to the dirty, residential‑area location, we ended up booking elsewhere and left without ever returning.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, letting us check in earlier than usual. I usually expect higher standards, but I found items left under the bed from previous guests, the shower water was cold, and the fridge’s freezer was almost completely frozen. The breakfast was a 0/10 – a buffet that served the same food every day and it didn’t taste good.

I was really impressed with the hotel's location - it was right in the heart of the city, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed, and the hotel itself was clean and comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again.

The hotel's central location is a major plus, with plenty of shops, markets, and massage places nearby. However, the breakfast was a major letdown - it was extremely basic and the options were limited and unappetizing. The view from my room was a real shocker, with trash-filled alleys and a general air of neglect. To top it off, there was no balcony, which was a disappointment. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place.
