“Hotel is fine if you just want to be near the beach and don’t care about being near downtown Durras and don’t mind being”

The place was clean, simple, and the staff were friendly, and it was close to the ice beach. The bed was hard, and because it's on a very busy road/highway, it was very loud. There is no “partial sea view”; another building blocks the view to the beach. The beach itself is nice but far from downtown Durras.

The location was good, close to the beach, and the rooms were pretty. However, there was no glass in the room or any soap. On the day we had a program, the hotel was inflexible about packing breakfast for us and only monitored the breakfast area, not allowing us to bring anything else, and they didn't even give us a knife if we couldn't get breakfast from the store. They also didn't allow breakfast on the bar terrace. Everything had to be paid for immediately, as if we were about to escape. That strictness was a bit annoying.

The room with a balcony and a super functioning air conditioning was really great. The hotel’s location is truly unique—just a walk over the promenade and you’re at the hotel’s own beach. Towels and umbrellas are included. We liked the hotel’s restaurant the most; the food was extremely tasty and the waiter was exceptionally kind and attentive, giving us great recommendations that matched our taste. We also had a few nice conversations with him, which were very interesting. We would definitely come back just because of the waiter. The hotel’s own beach was very littered. Unfortunately, the Albanians still need to learn proper waste disposal, and one would expect a hotel-owned beach to be cleaned at least in the evenings. That wasn’t the case. Cigarette butts, beer corks, and other trash were everywhere in the sand. Very, very disappointing. Trash bins are present, but they’re not really used. For example, when we arrived, a few bottles were on a lounge chair, and they were still there when we left.

The staff were friendly and the cleaning was good, but the breakfast could use more variety.

The hotel is set up on the beach with umbrellas and loungers. There are many restaurants nearby. Parking is available but very limited. The bed is comfortable. Defective furnishings are not repaired. Staff are not really helpful. Breakfast was poor; very little choice and minimal quality.
