“We came for a concert at the Britt with another couple. The rooms were spacious, well appointed! I wish we had stayed”
The historic inn was huge and comfortable, but the breakfast wasn’t part of the price.

It’s a hidden treasure in the middle of nowhere, but everything was shut down—no vibe at all, especially during peak season.

I recently stayed at this charming old Victorian hotel and had a mostly pleasant experience. Our room was spacious and featured a beautifully updated bathroom, a cozy sitting area, and a lovely electric fireplace. The coffee machine in the pantry was a nice touch. However, I felt that the price could have included a voucher for a light breakfast at the on-site bakery, and I was initially disappointed to find an unwashed bathrobe in my room.

I was impressed by the abundance of antiques and furnishings that adorned this property, making it a beautifully decorated place to stay. However, I did encounter some issues with the shower, which had a weak water flow and lacked handrails. I think it would be beneficial to install a more powerful showerhead and some grab rails to ensure a safer experience for older guests.

I appreciated the quality of the furnishings in my room, but my stay was somewhat marred by a lack of clear communication and personal touch. Despite being advertised as having a check-in time between 3-6 pm, I was informed that I would have to use a lockbox after 5 pm, and I didn't see anyone around the next morning, even at 9 am. Additionally, my original room request was changed to an "upgrade" without my consent, which was a bit frustrating.
