“Excelente con ubicación inmejorable”
It’s a classic hotel but very well kept, with an excellent location; the area next to the pool is nice and the Wi‑Fi works well there. Breakfast is continental, and anything extra costs extra, but the coffee is great. We stayed four days and it was very pleasant. The room is spacious, well lit, and very nice, though we would have liked a TV in the room and better Wi‑Fi, which should be fixed.
“Wonderful experience”
Clean, well‑organized, near restaurants and grocery stores, and the host is very sweet and always helpful.
“A Comfortable but Flawed Stay”
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The room was comfortable, and the garden with the pool was a lovely spot to unwind. However, I was disappointed to find that the hotel lacked some basic amenities, such as air conditioning, and the path to my room was difficult to navigate with a suitcase. Additionally, the hotel seemed to be closed on Sundays, leaving me without many options for food, and the staff was scarce.

It feels like a historic hotel in this town, sitting right on the main street with markets, cafés and shops just a short walk away, so the location isn’t bad at all. The room size was just right and the bed was comfortable, plus I appreciated having a bathtub that supplied hot water and a well‑working air‑conditioner. The pool area and garden offered a nice spot to relax, and the staff who were working there greeted me with friendly smiles. For the price it’s a decent alternative to pricier resorts. On the downside, the room smelled faintly of mold, the closet was old and poorly constructed, and the Wi‑Fi on the main‑street side was very weak and hard to use. That side of the room stayed dark even during the day because it didn’t get any sun. When it rained, even a light shower produced a thunderous roar that sounded like a downpour, and I couldn’t tell at first what was making the noise. Breakfast was self‑service and, aside from drinks, only offered toast and papaya, which didn’t match the room rate. Paying by card added an extra 4 % surcharge. Across Vanuatu, prices seem too high for what’s offered; if you’re charging this much for a room, at least provide a bottle of water and a hair dryer. The bath towels could also have been cleaner.
The staff were great, and owner Mary Jane made us feel at home and very friendly; no concerns at all, we had a great stay.
